When a client you’ve referred signs a management agreement with Homeward and their property is successfully leased to a tenant, you receive 25% of the tenant placement fee as a referral payment. If Homeward does not charge a tenant placement fee on that particular lease, you instead receive a flat $250 referral fee. Payment is processed after the tenant moves in.

No limit whatsoever. Refer as many clients as you like — each qualifying referral earns you a payment. We welcome agents who want to build an ongoing referral relationship with Homeward as a regular revenue stream.

If you’re a current Homeward owner rather than a real estate agent, you can refer another owner and receive one free month of management on one of your properties when that referral signs a management agreement. Use the referral form on this page or contact us directly at 469-649-7666.

No formal agreement is required before submitting a referral. Simply fill out the referral form and we’ll reach out to your client within one business day. Once we’ve made contact with your referred client, we’ll send you a referral agreement to formalize the arrangement before moving forward. It’s a straightforward process — refer first, paperwork follows naturally.

We’ll confirm when your referred client signs on with Homeward and notify you when payment is processed. We respect client confidentiality so detailed account information isn’t shared — but you’ll always know the status of your referral and when your payment is on the way.

A tenant placement fee is a one-time fee charged to place a qualified tenant in a property. The fee is typically equivalent to a portion of one month’s rent depending on the property and lease terms.
